Motorrad Magazine | ContiSportAttack 4 “One of the best tires of the year”
The German motorcycle magazine MO tested six sport tires on a Triumph Street Triple RS in their September issue. Three candidates were awarded with the “MO Tip”. Featuring Prominently: The ContiSportAttack 4 with the new BlackChili Sport-Compound.
The MO riders immediately felt the effect of the significantly larger slick area on the tire shoulder in comparison to the predecessor ContiSportAttack 3. The testers were full of praise: “The ContiSportAttack 4 literally sucks itself into the most extreme lean angles. A very handy tire with lots of feedback”. The MultiGrip technology – developed by Continental – also showed off its best. The test pilots emphatically praised the seamless transition between the harder, mileage-optimized middle and the grippier, softer shoulder of the tire as a characteristic feature the sporty street surfer.
The MO test crew concludes that the ContiSportAttack 4 is “the handiest tire in the test with amazing responsiveness when cornering”.
