Ready for Adventure!
As you know, Continental is an enthusiastic brand for long distance Adventure expeditions and weekend Adventure rides. In fact, we have launched a wide range of options for those adventurists where the ContiTrailAttack 3 is the latest of the family. These tires are targeted for specific kind of motorcycles: the adventure segment. They are definitely the most proper way to experience your Adventure dreams, so we want to look over some of the best adventure motorcycles we can find in the 2020 market and why the CTA 3 is the best choice for your dream plan.
Before jumping in to the list, it’s important to remind you that the ContiTrailAttack 3 is the most asphalt-oriented tire in the Conti adventure segment. All the listed motorcycles can also use other adventure tires such as the TKC 70, TKC 70 Rocks and the TKC 80: depending on your on-road or off-road preferences. In this case, the ContiTrailAttack 3 is the most on-road oriented although you could go into some easy off-road surfaces.
KTM 390 Adventure
Continental is OEM of the brand-new KTM 390 Adventure, which comes with the TKC 70 tires from the factory. The new middlewheight adventurist is one of the most celebrated arrivals of the current season. It is the new first step in this family, where you can also find the 790 Adventure and the big 1290 Super Adventure. We’ve already seen the KTM 390 Adventure and it has a traveling and off-road orientation. However, it brings a wide versatility so, the user can rides as a commuter or just a traveler on asphalt paths. In this case, the ContiTrailAttack 3 is a great option.

Triumph Tiger 900
The Triumph Tiger 900 is a brand-new bike. The British firm designed it for being one of the references of the category. The previous ‘800’ has been completely transformed with a more responsive new triple engine, a new aggressive and modern style and state-of-the-art technology. The now lighter Triumph Tiger 900 range is split between two variants. The more asphalt standard and GT versions (front 19″ tire) and, on the other hand, the Rally options (21″ front tire and longer travel suspensions).
Although your best choice for a road use is the Triumph Tiger 900 GT versions, you should know that the ContiTrailAttack 3 tire is also a great tire for riding on-road with a 21″ front road. Of course, the ‘Brit’ adventure also can also fit the TKC 70 and the TKC 80 tires.

Suzuki V-Strom 1050 / XT
The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 is the new generation of the famous bike. Despite the change of the name, it keeps the same V-twin engine, but the most important changes are in the awesome new styling, that incorporates the classic DR-Z Dakar motorbike and the large DR-Big, paying homage to one of the best sagas of the two-wheel world. It keeps the same V engine but its performance has been improved with more peak power and the same fuel economy goal. The new V-Strom 1050 and the more raid-looking XT version are perfect for chasing the adventure or just travelling in an exciting way. The ContiTrailAttack 3 is a great tire to pair with this V-Strom.

Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin / Adventure Sports
After forging the legend some decades ago, the brand-new Africa Twin returned the market four years ago with a very interesting pack. Now, the Japanese brand brings us the new Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin. Its value is the balance between power and weight, but it’s also the evolution of electronics, chassis and engine where the Africa Twin has shone in the adventure segment. The engine is a two-in-line that this year has grown from 998 to 1084 cc, one of the keys of this evolution. You can also choose the DCT, the amazing and comfortable Dual Clutch Transmission, with which you don’t need the clutch lever. With the same updates, you have the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports, which brings better wind protection, bigger tank and longer-travel suspension.
The Africa Twin rider is usually an off-road lover, so the TKC 70, the TKC 70 Rocks and the TKC 80 models are natural choices. However, the ContiTrailAttack 3 is a great option if you are facing a long asphalt journey.

Royal Enfield Himalayan
As you may know, they say that their motorcycles are ‘made like a gun’. The Royal Enfield Himalayan came out several years back ago, but it didn’t honor the slogan… However, the Indian brand fixed the problems testing the bike in the hardest terrain and now it is a nice middleweight adventure-oriented bike as well as one of the most affordable true adventure bikes you can find in the market. Despite the 21″ front tire, which tells us its off-road aims (the TKC 70 and the rear TKC 70 Rocks may be the best tires for it), it can also be a great traveler, so the ContiTrailAttack 3 is a great option.

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel
After the arrival of the standard version last season, this year we have the Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel. The classic travel enduro has an off-road DNA, but for those who just want to go on asphalt roads, the ContiTrailAttack 3 is a quite intelligent option for your tires. In the Travel new version, the user finds a higher windshield, a pair of panniers, hand grips, LED lights and the multimedia platform as well as the specific color.

Husqvarna 701 Enduro / LR / Husqvarna 701 Supermoto
The big ‘701’ is a well-known range of models in the Husqvarna catalog. As you know, there are two models. The Husqvarna 701 Enduro is a big enduro (clever!). You can bring enduro skills to a bigger capacity. In fact, all of them has a 693 cc engine, the most powerful one-cylinder powerplant ever sold. The more possibilities of this bike make it more adventurist. Furthermore, this year we have the new Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR, as ‘Long Range’, in order to have more miles to go without stop. It also enhances the electronics, with new switchable ride modes, new Bosch cornering ABS, new Easy Shift function and new lean-angle sensitive motorcycle traction control. In the other hand, we have the Husqvarna 701 Supermoto, a very track-oriented motorbike.
Both models have very strong specifications. In fact, the Enduro fits amazingly with the TKC 80 and the Supermoto matches well with the ContiAttack SM EVO: both of them OEM’s. However, you can also use them as a good traveler. Why not? In that case, a pair of ContiTrailAttack 3 tires are a fantastic choice.
