Continental’s Biggest Global Event till Date

Continental has held the company’s biggest and most relevant global event to date. It was held from September 20 to 26 in Spain and was attended by more than 800 participants from all over the world, including customers and press. The reason? To present all the new products and experience the “Universo Continental” at first hand.

From car tires to those for motorcycles, trucks and special vehicles. Attendees were able to immerse themselves in a 360º experience where they could get to know and test all Continental products and services. To this end, a series of dynamic actions were carried out, such as driving electric vehicles on a circuit, several master classes with brand experts from different sectors, riding simulators and an intense truck experience.

Each of the sectors was divided into a world of the “Universo Continental”. If we talk about our favorite, the one for motorcycles, we have to highlight the fun simulator in which participants could demonstrate their riding skills in a safe environment. The occasion was used to present to all attendees the new ContiRoadAttack 4 tires, a product already in high demand in the market and appreciated by users who have been lucky enough to ride them.

Another of the activities that most impressed the attendees was the circuit speed test between a Lamborghini and a Kawasaki H2, in which, of course, the Kawasaki motorcycle won. In the passenger car tire segment, there were also tests in which the tires were tested in all their aspects: start, braking, slalom and cornering.

All the guests, customers, press and fans of the brand, were able to visit different modules dedicated to the main activities and sponsorships of the brand, such as the Extreme-E motor, the Tour de France or the technological collaboration with Adidas in its sports footwear.

More Than 150 Years of History

The “Universo Continental” event also served to take stock of the company’s more than 150 years of history. As Jon Ander García, General Manager of Continental Tires Spain and in charge of inaugurating the event, explained, the Continental Group now has more than 190,000 employees and 527 locations in 58 countries: “Continental’s greatest challenge is to enjoy the road through safe and sustainable riding in all areas. That is why the “Universo Continental” demonstrates the technological capabilities of our company, with which we aim to achieve all the challenges we set ourselves”.
