Motorcycle Novelties 2023

The year 2023 is here and with it all the most exciting motorcycle novelties. During the last few months, brands have been presenting their bets for the coming year, models full of technology and maximum performance. Little by little, these bikes are arriving at the dealerships, and as we know that so many novelties can lead to confusion, we wanted to make a guide to the 7 most interesting models of 2023, as well as the recommended tires to fit them.

1. Fantic Caballero 700 Scrambler

We start with the legendary Italian firm Fantic, which this 2023 extends the family with its first twin-cylinder bike, the 2023 Caballero 700 Scrambler. In addition to its spectacular scrambler design, this model stands out for its parallel twin-cylinder engine (manufactured by Yamaha and used in the MT-07, Tracer 7 and XSR700), liquid-cooled and with 75 hp of power and 68 Nm of torque. Also striking is the 45 mm upside-down Marzocchi fork and the developed electronics applied.

The 2023 Fantic Caballero 700 Scrambler is perfect for using Continental’s off-road tires, either the TKC 80 if you are going to bet more on trails, or the TKC 70 Rocks or TKC 70 if you are going to ride more on asphalt. In addition, they will give an important touch to the aesthetics of this scrambler.

2. Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

Royal Enfield has also expanded its 2023 range with the new Super Meteor 650. This new model features the well-known twin engine and a completely new chassis. It gives 47 hp at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 52 Nm at 5,650 rpm, which is characterized by the smoothness that makes it perfect for freeway trips. As a good cruiser it stands out for a low seating position and a seat height of 740 mm from the ground.

Continental’s range of tires is very wide, and therefore we also have tires for heavier bikes. Without a doubt, one of the favorites of cruiser users are the ContiTour, created especially for custom and big bikes.

3. Triumph Street Triple R, RS and Moto2

Triumph gave the surprise with the renewal of its Street Triple family, which has three versions: Triumph Street Triple R, Triumph Street Triple RS and Triumph Street Triple Moto2 Edition. Undoubtedly, our favorite is the Triumph Street Triple R, which has the ContiRoad as standard tire. This model increases the performance of its engine from 118 to 120 hp and is equipped with quick-change as standard, ABS and cornering traction control.

If you opt for the Triumph Street Triple RS or the Triumph Street Triple Moto2 Edition, we recommend you opt for the ContiRoad’s big brother, the ContiRoadAttack 4, as it will perfectly complement the sporty performance of the English motorcycle.

4. Suzuki GSX-8S

The Japanese brand presented several new products at EICMA 2022, one of them the Suzuki GSX-8S, a completely new model. It includes a parallel-twin engine, also new, with 776 cc, 84 hp and 78 Nm of torque. The GSX-8S comes to meet the needs of those who love the GSX-1000 but are looking for a motorcycle with smaller displacement. It is compact and dynamic, with a maximum weight of 202 kg and a good electronics package.

For this Japanese bike we recommend the new ContiRoadAttack 4 too, the premium hyper-touring tire created for those looking for a little more sporty performance with their touring bike.

5. BMW S 1000 RR

The 2023 BMW S 1000 RR takes a step forward in its evolution as one of the most attractive superbikes on the market, as it improves the previous model in almost all aspects in a very remarkable way. If we start with the engine, the German supersport further squeezes the inline four-cylinder, which will get scratch more power, now declaring 154 kW (210 hp) at 13,750 rpm. The 2023 BMW S 1000 RR remains an aluminum bridge chassis which has been made several openings in the side areas thus achieving optimize lateral flexibility.

To complete this spectacular BMW to the level it deserves, you can bet on our super sporty ContiSportAttack 4 tires. These tires, which include the BlackChili compound and stand out for their grip and handling, are perfect for keeping up with the pace of the German jewel. If you also like to do your dabbling on the circuit, you can also choose the ContiRaceAttack 2 Street, which are homologated for the street but also suitable for the track.

6. Energica Experia

The Energica Experia is positioned as the first electric motorcycle that truly wants to challenge the most adventurous. It enters the segment with a new platform that has introduced interesting improvements in autonomy and performance. The redesigned PMASynRM motor is lightweight and achieves a maximum power of 75 kW (101 hp), a rated power of 80 hp with a maximum torque of 115 Nm and a top speed of 180 km/h (180 mph). It should be remembered that the Energica Experia lacks gears and clutch. One of the most interesting points is its range, which reaches 152 miles on the highway or 260 miles in urban areas.

Again, we bet on the ContiRoadAttack 4 to fit this new model. These tires were created to improve the road performance of the most current and top level machines, such as the Energica Experia.

7. Honda Hornet

The Japanese brand has launched for the next 2023 the Honda Hornet, it is the renewal of this well-known model adapted to current requirements. It has a parallel twin-cylinder engine that produces 90 hp, a maximum weight of 190 kg, a throttle-by-wire system and a more than complete electronics package with different riding modes and riding aids.

The 2023 Honda Hornet is perfect for using the ContiRoad or ContiRoadAttack 4, the latter being perfect for topping it off with premium tires.
