Libby’s Motoworld in New Haven, Connecticut is a rarity in today’s Powersports business world. As more and more family-owned and operated dealerships are bought out by corporate groups, Libby’s remains family-owned. In fact, the Libby family has operated the business for over 60 years and 4 generations!

Originally established in 1957, Libby’s started out selling and servicing Checker Taxi cabs before getting into the motorcycle business. Yamaha was added to their line-up in the sixties, followed by the acquisition of a local Honda franchise and then the Libby family added Triumph in the early 2000’s. Today Libby’s Motoworld sells and services Honda, Yamaha and Triumph motorcycles along with Polaris and Slingshot Powersports products.

With such a broad and diverse product range, Libby Motoworld customers cover a broad range as well. While mostly street-oriented, Libby’s off-road business has grown quite a bit in recent years. New Adventure models from Yamaha and Triumph add to the mix for a well-balanced motorcycle offering at Libby’s Motoworld.

Brendon also says he was taken back by what a large company Continental is as are many “first timers” to the Continental Uvalde test facility.
