Even sportier than its predecessor, the ContiSportAttack 4, the new tire is designed as an 80/20 supersport tire, making it the ideal choice for riders who want to get the most out of their (super)sport and naked bikes—whether carving through twisty backroads or during occasional track training sessions.

Five key innovations behind the ContiSportAttack 5:

• Next-generation BlackChili compound: Exceptional grip thanks to a new BlackChili formulation, delivering improved asphalt adhesion and optimized wear patterns during track sessions.

• Enhanced agility through an innovative steel belt design featuring MultiZoneBelt technology. Tighter belt winding at the tire center ensures high straight-line stability, while wider spacing at the shoulders increases contact area and confidence when leaning into corners. The variable spacing between the center and shoulder allows for smooth, agile turn-in.

• More precise steering response from a new carcass construction with specifically tuned stiffness zones.

• Faster warm-up through specially optimized tread zones adapted to each riding situation.

• TractionSkin surface ensures safe, confident performance from the very first mile.

The ContiSportAttack 5 is the perfect fit for today’s supersport models like the BMW S 1000 RR and Yamaha YZF-R9, as well as for powerful naked bikes such as the BMW S 1000 R, Kawasaki Z 900, and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO. Designed for 80% road and 20% track use—no tire pressure adjustments or tire warmers needed. “Our target group are the performers—technically skilled riders who are confident in their abilities. For them, everything revolves around high-level sporty riding—and that’s exactly what the ContiSportAttack 5 delivers,” says Christoph Ettenhuber, Head of Motorcycle Tires Business Unit at Continental.

Track DNA Meets Real-World Performance

The ContiSportAttack 5 merges track-level performance with everyday usability. Designed for speeds of up to 320 km/h (depending on tire size), its construction is fully road-legal while the compound blend also provides excellent performance during intensive track days.
